A little bit more about me

I'm a UX Researcher - Designer passionate about creating meaningful, accessible experiences.

I spent 3 years as a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research India (MSRI) in the Technology and Empowerment team, where I was the first design fellow hired in fifteen years. My work explored the intersection of design and technology, collaborating with NGOs, schools, and academic institutions to co-design inclusive digital experiences for diverse communities with disabilities. During this time, I led projects across Human Computer Interaction, accessibility, and service design, developing human-centered solutions that strengthened the connection between people and technology.

Currently, I consult as a UX Research and Design Consultant, working with organisations like CT NOVA (transitioning from Microsoft Community Training) on identity, UX, and digital design. Alongside this, I am pursuing full-time opportunities in HCI and societal impact to continue building inclusive technologies at scale.

Before MSR, I graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology, where I completed my thesis with the Ludic Design for Accessibility team at MSR.

Beyond UX, I am deeply passionate about product and furniture design, particularly the tactile aspects of material and making. Creativity for me also flows into music and writing. I studied Hindustani classical music and Tabla for 10 years, sing and write poetry in my free time, and draw inspiration from music, people, and nature. And when I am not creating, you will probably find me rewatching favorite series, noticing the small details I missed the first time.
